Camilo Parra, AIA, Houston, was one of eight recipients of the 2009 AIA Young Architects Award. The national honor is presented to professionals who have been licensed 10 years or less regardless of their age. The award recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the profession early in their careers.
He also was awarded the 2009 Texas Society of Architects Award for Young Professional Achievement in Honor of William W. Caudill, FAIA and received the 2008 Ben Brewer Young Architect Award, AIA Houston.
